What Is Scar And Stretch Mark Camouflaging?
Here at My London Skin Clinic we offer advanced scar camouflage treatment and stretch mark removal solutions & a variety of skin services, helping you improve the appearance and texture of scars and stretch marks. One of our most popular treatments is medical micropigmentation which is a non-surgical procedure where customized pigment is implanted into the scar to blend into the rest of the skin.
What Type Of Scars Can Be Treated?
Scar camouflaging works great on surgical scars such as tummy tuck, facelift, liposuction, BBL, breast surgery, C-section, accident or injuries, hypopigmented skin conditions such as vitiligo and stretch marks. It is both safe and effective on most healthy, fully healed scars and skin.
The treatment is safe and effective on most healthy, fully healed skin, making it a suitable option for both surgical scar removal and non-surgical scar blending.
Advantages Of Having Scar And Stretch Camouflaging?
Micropigmentation not only camouflages the skin and blends the scar seamlessly, but it also stimulates collagen production, improving the texture. As it’s a non-surgical treatment, there are no stitches involved, no cutting, therefore minimal downtime, which also means less risks involved. The results tend to last 3-5 years (and sometimes longer), with minor touch ups needed over the years. Unlike makeup it does not fade, so you can swim, shower and sweat without worrying about anything smudging. The pigments are customized and mixed to match your exact skin tone, making the scars blend beautifully and effortlessly into the surrounding skin. In addition, it boosts confidence making you feel more comfortable in your own skin.
