Thoughtful dental care, centred on your confidence and comfort

From the first consultation, Dr Wafaa aims to create an experience in which patients feel listened to, respected and well informed. She takes time to understand what has brought each person to the clinic, discuss their priorities in clear language and explain the care that may be appropriate for them. Her focus is on helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral-health decisions.

Dr Wafaa consults in both English and Arabic, helping her support a broad range of patients in Dubai and the UAE. She holds DHA and DOH registration and brings professional experience across Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

A career shaped by healthcare, detail and creativity

Dr Wafaa was drawn to dentistry by the connection between oral health, appearance and self-confidence. For her, dentistry brings together healthcare, precision, creativity and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to a patient’s everyday confidence.

She graduated from Cairo University in Egypt in June 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, B.D.S. After completing a one-year dental internship at Cairo University Hospitals, she continued to develop her clinical experience in a range of settings. She worked as a General Dentist in Saudi Arabia for three years and six months, followed by two years of practice as a General Dentist in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi.

Since 2020, Dr Wafaa has practised in Dubai as a Cosmetic Dentist, with a professional interest in aesthetic dental care. At My London Skin Clinic, her approved scope includes routine dental examinations and oral health assessments, preventive dentistry and oral hygiene advice, scale and polish or hygiene coordination, and dental fillings and restorative dentistry. She approaches these areas with attention to detail, comfort and oral health in mind.

Building a positive dental experience

A good dental experience is about more than a single appointment. Dr Wafaa values genuine, trusting relationships with her patients and recognises that each person arrives with different priorities, questions and levels of confidence. Patients may have delayed a check-up, have a specific concern or simply want practical guidance to support their oral health.

Dr Wafaa’s role is to create a reassuring setting for these conversations. She encourages patients to share their concerns openly and approaches each visit with sensitivity and care. She listens carefully, carries out an appropriate assessment and discusses the available options in a manageable way. Where a particular service is not within the appropriate scope of the consultation, or further assessment is needed, this can be discussed as part of the patient’s care plan.

Her aim is not to make assumptions about what a patient should want from dentistry. Instead, she focuses on understanding their goals and supporting choices that are suitable for their individual needs. This measured approach is especially important for patients who may feel anxious, uncertain or unfamiliar with dental care in Dubai.

For patients who are new to the city, returning to dental care after a break or managing appointments around a demanding routine, clarity matters. Dr Wafaa seeks to make each consultation feel unhurried, respectful and focused on what is most relevant to the individual.

Preventive dentistry and oral health assessments

Prevention is an important part of long-term oral health. During a routine dental examination or oral health assessment, Dr Wafaa can review a patient’s dental concerns, discuss their oral hygiene routine and help identify areas that may benefit from attention. These appointments allow patients to ask questions, receive tailored guidance and make informed decisions about their next steps.

Dr Wafaa also provides preventive dentistry and oral hygiene advice. Rather than offering generic recommendations, she considers the concerns a patient has raised and the information gathered during their assessment. She can then discuss practical ways to support daily oral care and explain when ongoing monitoring, hygiene support or another appropriate step may be helpful.

For people living fast-paced lives in Dubai, preventive care can be easy to postpone until discomfort or a visible concern becomes difficult to ignore. Dr Wafaa encourages a proactive approach that fits around the patient’s circumstances. A consultation provides an opportunity to discuss questions early and plan care at a clear, achievable pace.

Hygiene support with a personalised approach

Scale and polish treatment, or hygiene coordination where appropriate, can form part of an oral-health plan following assessment. Dr Wafaa discusses this care in the context of each patient’s oral health, habits and concerns. She helps patients understand why a recommendation may be made and what it could involve.

Small, consistent steps can make a valuable difference to how patients feel about their oral health. Dr Wafaa enjoys helping people feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental journey, particularly when a patient has not attended a dentist for some time or is unsure where to begin. She believes that a supportive conversation, clear information and a respectful approach can help make dental care feel more approachable.

Restorative dentistry and dental fillings

When a tooth requires restorative care, Dr Wafaa provides dental fillings and restorative dentistry within her approved scope at My London Skin Clinic. The purpose of a consultation is to assess the concern carefully, understand the patient’s symptoms and discuss the suitable options. The recommendation will depend on the clinical findings, the condition of the tooth and the patient’s individual circumstances.

Dr Wafaa approaches restorative care with the same attention to detail that informs her wider dental practice. She explains the process in straightforward terms, answers questions openly and ensures that patients know what to expect before deciding how to proceed.

No two dental concerns are identical. A filling or restorative treatment should be considered following a professional assessment, and results will depend on the individual clinical situation. Dr Wafaa’s role is to help patients understand their options and support an approach that is appropriate, considered and focused on their oral health.

Continuing professional development

Dr Wafaa values continued learning and has completed professional development in laminate veneers, dental bleaching, CAD/CAM and digital dentistry. Her continuing education also includes the 17th CAD/CAM and Digital Dentistry Conference and the Digital Dentistry Conference: Going Digital and Growing Digital.

She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Saudi Dental Society. Her professional background, combined with her work across several countries and her years of experience in Dubai, enables her to bring an informed and internationally aware perspective to patient care.
